To celebrate Disneyland's 60th Birthday I traveled across the country to join in the festivities where the magic all began! Sleeping Beauty's castle was adorned with shimmering gemstones and new shows and fireworks were created to commemorate this special occasion. It was so much fun to be a part of “Walk In Walt's Footsteps" tour and learn the history of the park while also experiencing places that the general public doesn't get to see including the Dream Suite! While there are some similarities between Disneyland and Walt Disney World, they are very different and should be experienced. Some of my favorite attractions are the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean both of which are quite different between CA and FL. Cars Land located in California Adventure is home to one of my new favorite rides, Radiator Springs Racers, and is a place where you can meet some of the stars from Cars like Mater and McQueen. The Disneyland Resort is a great place to visit for the young and the young at heart!
