More than 30 years ago, I decided to pursue a career in the travel industry. I wanted to become a travel agent because I personally love exploring new cities and exciting destinations, but also because I knew every day on the job would be different than the last. Each day is an opportunity to work with a new client who has unique travel dreams, and I am the one who can transform those dreams into reality.
I am proud to say that I have booked trips for my clients to destinations all around the world. I specialize in booking trips to the Caribbean and Mexico, and I love booking cruises and honeymoons for my travelers. Some of the most interesting trips I have planned include:
- An African Safari — This luxury safari experience allowed my travelers to take in the sights and sounds of the African countryside, and even get a glimpse of the majestic Big Five.
- A Fiji Vacation — This exotic locale can be difficult to reach, but I was able to coordinate the logistics to create a seamless and memorable experience on this stunning tropical island.
In addition to crafting unique itineraries based on my clients' interests and budgets, I also am a valuable resource for my travelers. Throughout their entire trip, I am available to help them in the event of unexpected challenges or emergency circumstances. Once, I was able to help my client who was traveling on an Alaskan cruise get to the nearest airport in order to return home, as his sister had unexpectedly passed away. Another time, my clients arrived only to find out their luggage had been lost. They had to board their 14-day cruise without their suitcase, but I worked with the airport to get their luggage on the ship within a few days.

Catch a rugby game with some of New Zealand’s die-hard fans. There are signs of the sport at every corner, whether it’s a young boy perfecting his kick at the park or a proud supporter wearing his team’s shirt to the mall.
Experience Maori culture—meet the local people and enjoy a hangi feast cooked in earth ovens. Maori make up 14% of the population and their history, language and traditions are central to New Zealand’s identity.
